Mark your calendars for Redeemer's Missions Conference happening March 16-23! Our theme is "The Power of One" and we will be learning about how God can use one church, one person, one family, one prayer, or even one dollar to further his Kingdom on earth. We will be highlighting RUF ministries on March 16th with our main events occurring the following weekend. We are excited to welcome many of our national and international ministry partners representing 5 continents to Athens along with Mark Bates, the Senior Director of US operations for MTW, who will be our conference speaker. Please be on the lookout for more details as we get closer to the event.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We will need many volunteers to bring the conference together. We will have opportunities for you to serve in areas including hospitality, prayer, events set up and clean up, audiovisual, graphics, children's ministry, etc. To sign up to help with the conference, click below!
Blair Smith will lead and speak on Friday night and Saturday morning. Come Friday after supper to join the retreat and stay through supper on Saturday. All Saturday meals are included. At the camp, there will be fishing, open gym time, hiking and wiffle ball available. For those who are interested in skeet shooting or rock climbing (possible with interest) you can pay extra $15 when you register. Please choose your preferred activity in the registration.
Class Starts February 18th! Join us as we deep dive into theology together.
This class is for any student looking to grow in wisdom and knowledge, with the availability for 8 weeks of Tuesday night class. With a heavy emphasis on discussion, don't be intimidated by the workload! While we do ask a lot of Theology students (reading, memorization, etc.), the main hope is to learn and to grow alongside your friends.
Theology 101, 102, and 103 can be taken in any order-- so feel free to jump in! $40 pays for your workbook and other books; returning students only need to pay $15 for the next workbook.
While this class is recommended for high school students, middle schoolers are welcome to join in. If you have questions or need a book scholarship, please reach out to Wes!
Come hear about what God is doing in Athens Greece on Tuesday night. Church planting pastor Erik Petrou will be in town. Erik pastors the Breath of Life church plant in Neos Kosmos and has received the RPCYouth mission teams. Nick and Christina Brannen will be hosting a dinner for Redeemer folks to hear from him. RYA will be hosting a split event for February! Boys will be at the Garrett's house (213 Colima Ave. Athens, GA) for a grillin and game night. Brats and burgers will be provided but please bring a side or something to throw on the grill! Girls will meet at Rachel and Elizabeth's house (125 Edwards Cir. Athens, GA) for a pink night. RYA is hosting a grilled cheese night on Monday, January 20 from 7:00-10:00 pm at Kayla and Josh Garrett's house (213 Colima Ave, Athens GA 30606).
We will provide cheese (both dairy and non-dairy), bread (we will have gluten-free options), and a couple of fixings to add! Join us for Redeemer’s Annual Lessons & Carols; a service that celebrates the birth of Christ with scripture reading, Christmas carols, and hymns.
This year, we will begin the night with a fellowship gathering around fire pits with s'mores, hot cocoa and a collection of homemade treats and baked goods from members of the congregation. Come for a festive gathering in the parking lot next to the Firestone Room starting at 5pm. It is is raining, we will be in the Lower Warehouse. The worship service will then be held in the church sanctuary at 6:30pm and the nursery will be provided for young children during the service.
Mother&Daughter Christmas Cookie Parties: Moms with K5-5th grade daughters, don't miss our Mother&Daughter Christmas Cookie Parties this December! We'd love to have you join us for Christmas cookie decorating, fellowship in different homes, and a mom/daughter celebration of Christmas together.

Redeemer’s women’s ministry would like to invite you to a readying-for-Christmas night on November 14th at Sage Andrews’ home. Please plan to be a part as you create your own Jesse Tree Advent Devotional with other women. Come for a special time of fellowship and leave with a meaningful Christmas devotional for your home. Some ahead-of-time prep will be involved and space will be limited.
If you would like to participate but are unable to come the night of November 14th, we’d be glad to pick up your ornaments from you and return back to you the completed Jesse Tree Devotional Set back to you.
