SEEKING A COMMONWEALTH:
SEVEN PRINCIPLES FOR FAITHFUL CHRISTIAN CITIZENSHIP
On March 18th, Dr. Brad Littlejohn will join us at Redeemer for an evening talk + discussion on the intersection of faith and politics. Come from 7-9pm for desserts, coffee and a talk in the Lower Warehouse.
In a time of increasing political polarization, Christians are liable to feel torn not only between traditional partisan divides, but between rival agendas of militant secularism and resurgent 'Christian nationalism.' What does faithful citizenship look like amidst these pressures? How can we keep our hearts focused in the right place--God's spiritual kingdom--without unduly neglecting our duties in his temporal kingdom? In this talk, Dr. Littlejohn will explore seven principles for how to both think and act wisely when it comes to the intersection of our faith and our politics.
